Endstation Sehnsucht: Ein Jahr kreuz und quer durch Europa auf einer BMW S 1000 RR
Eine gehörige Portion Leidensfähigkeit inklusive: Auf dem bayerischen Supersportler durch Deutschland, Österreich, Slowenien, die Schweiz und Italien. Herrliche Bilder!
Let's hear Nick Uhri in his own voice:
(Nick Uhri im O-Ton)
"I am US Military stationed in Germany but sadly will be moving back to the US this month. I have been here for 3 years and bought the S 1000 RR new in Germany. Initially I had no desire to ride long distances on a sport bike but after talking to someone about it I decided to join him for a trip.
Although it is a little uncomfortable it is much more comfortable than any other sport bike I have ridden. There are also quite a bit of touring storage options for the S 1000. After making my first trip down through the Italian Alps I was hooked and during the time of the footage from that video I rode 12,000 km in one summer season.
My friend now has 57,000 miles on his S 1000 RR as he is retired and goes just about every weekend. But now I must go back to the US and miss these awesome places. I did one last ride 2 weeks ago to Swizterland Italy and Austria. Weather was good but in the Alps there were still 3 meters of snow on both sides of the roads!"
